Gregory Loan

Gregory Loan is a master prop and mold maker from the special effects industry with particular expertise in simulating life-like tissue in silicone rubber. He has worked on several high-profile contracts, including the Harry Potter and Jurassic Park theme parks. He also has a strong background in robotics and micro-controller programming and is an enthusiastic member of several Boston based robotics groups. He earned a master’s degree in History from Harvard Extension School in 2012 earning that school’s Klein Prize for “Best Thesis in History” for his thesis on the History of Early Robotics. He is currently enrolled in the Department of Engineering at Northeastern University studying Mechanical Engineering.
